What you do NOT want from your maintenance company!

Here are a few sample photos of the neglect from a poor maintenance on a saltwater aquarium! When I took over this client's aquarium the salt creep build up was so bad most of their equipment needed replaced. Salt creep occurs when the water in an aquarium that contains salt splashes out of the tank gets things wet, and after the fresh portion of the water evaporates, all that is left behind are salt crystals. Salt is a corrosive substance, and therefore it can affect anything it touches. It is an easy job to keep up on if your maintenance company does their job properly.  The entire set-up had to be restriped and started over from scratch due to many problems done by the past maintenance company. Cleaning the glass and feeding the fish is not even half what needs to be done to insure a healthy tank! Don't let this happen to your tank and wallet!
